Product Description

  • Cryogenic Compatibility:
    Liquid hydrogen is stored at extremely low temperatures (approximately -253°C or -423°F). The nozzle must be constructed from materials that can withstand these cryogenic conditions without losing structural integrity or performance. Typically, stainless steel or other durable, low-temperature-resistant materials are used.

  • High Pressure Rating:
    Due to the nature of hydrogen refueling, which often occurs at high pressures (up to several hundred bar), the nozzle is designed to handle these pressures safely while ensuring no leaks occur during the transfer process.

  • Safety Mechanisms:
    Hydrogen is a highly flammable gas, and thus the nozzle incorporates advanced safety mechanisms. These include sealing systems to prevent leaks, automatic shut-off valves, and interlocking mechanisms that ensure the nozzle is securely connected before fuel transfer can begin. Safety features like breakaway functionality may also be included to prevent accidents if the refueling hose is accidentally pulled.
